Near East University (NEU)
Near East University, بزرگترین دانشگاه قبرس شمالی است. این دانشگاه سال ۱۹۸۸ توسط آقای Suat Günsel در پایتخت قبرس شمالی باعنوان موسسه آموزش عالی شروع بکار کرد و اکنون پس از گذشت دهه ها با رشد چشمگیری که داشته توانسته ۲۶هزار دانشجو از ۱۰۰ ملیت مختلف دنیا را در خود جا دهد.
این دانشگاه خصوصی بین المللی دارای۲۰ دانشکده، ۲۲۰ رشته در مقاطع کارشناسی، ۲۱۸ رشته در مقاطع ارشد و دکتری و ۲۸موسسه پژوهشی است.
دانشگاه خاور نزدیک قبرس neu در حال حاضر عضو انجمن دانشگاه های اروپایی (EUA)، انجمن بین المللی یونسکو (IAU)، انجمن بین المللی آموزش مهندسی (IGIP)، کمیسیون مشترک بین المللی (JCI)، اتحادیه دانشگاههای جهان اسلام (FUIW) و ۱۱۸ مؤسسه و بنیاد ملی و بین المللی دیگر است.
